Dr. Lakis Chatzimichael graduated from the Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest in 2001. He then completed a one-year internship at Nicosia General Hospital.
In 2002, he began his medical residency, which he completed in the summer of 2009, earning the title of Specialist in Vascular Surgery from the Medical School of the University of Thessaloniki.

Since 2010, he has been an active member of the Cyprus Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, having previously served as its President and as a member of the Board of Directors from 2010 to today. He is also a member of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS).
He has participated in numerous conferences worldwide with the aim of providing the most advanced therapeutic options to vascular patients.
