Vascular Ultrasound studies (Doppler)
At the Medcure Medical Centre we are proud to have one of the best vascular laboratories of Cyprus. Backed by two highly trained vascular surgeons with a huge experience in detecting vascular pathology over the past 20 years.
Having performed well over 100 000 Vascular ultrasound studies, the team offers highly accurate doppler studies (considered by many as a reference point).
Studies are done using state of the art colour ultrasound devices. The centre has a total of 4 colour ultrasound devices available including portable devices.
Some of the vascular studies performed are:
• Venous doppler for varicose veins/ thrombosis
• Arterial doppler (For dibetics/smokers)
• Carotid doppler
• Screening for abdominal aneurysms
• Ankle brachial measurements
• Post operative surveillance after angioplasty/ by-pass surgery
